Sizing mailbox packs: worked examples

Mailbox packs let you match your MxGuard subscription to the exact number of addresses on a domain, in increments of 25.

How the maths works: - A 40-mailbox domain = the base plan (25 included) + one pack (25) = capacity for 50, comfortably covering 40. - A 100-mailbox domain = the base plan + three packs (25 × 3 = 75) = capacity for 100. - Add one pack per additional 25 mailboxes you need.

Even several packs deep, the per-mailbox cost stays well below typical per-user competitor pricing, because MxGuard prices per domain plus packs rather than charging for every individual seat.

When packs stop being the right tool. If you're stacking many packs — hundreds or thousands of mailboxes — talk to us for a bespoke quote instead. Packs are billed monthly, ex-VAT, on the same invoice as the domain, so scaling up or down is just a change to the number of packs.
