Adjusting per-domain scoring thresholds

MxGuard ships with sensible default thresholds — reject at 0.97, quarantine at 0.85, tag at 0.50 — but every domain can override them if it wants to be more or less aggressive.

When to raise thresholds (be more lenient): a domain that receives a lot of legitimate bulk mail, newsletters or transactional notifications, where you would rather occasionally let junk through than risk holding a wanted message.

When to lower thresholds (be more aggressive): a domain under active attack, or one where users never review quarantine and you would rather be strict.

Thresholds are set per domain in the self-service portal, so a strict finance domain and a lenient marketing domain can coexist on the same account. Any change you make is recorded in the audit log. Because the AI brain still hands borderline messages to Claude regardless of your thresholds, tightening or loosening the numbers changes where the cut-offs sit without disabling the intelligent second look.
