Uploading custom greetings, IVR prompts and hold music

To brand the caller experience on your 25-Line account:

  1. In your account, go to the Recordings area and upload your audio files for greetings, IVR menu prompts and queue announcements.
  2. Under Custom Music, upload the hold/ring-time audio you want callers to hear while waiting.
  3. Attach each recording to the relevant switchboard object — a greeting to the digital receptionist, an announcement to a queue, a menu prompt to the IVR.

Keep prompts short and clear, and record at a consistent volume so callers do not get sudden jumps between your greeting and hold music. If you record calls, include an announcement at the start of the IVR flow so callers are informed.
