Setting up a mobile softphone (Zoiper, Linphone, Bria)

You can turn any Android or iPhone into an extension of your Free SIP Account.

1. Install a SIP softphone from your app store — popular choices are Zoiper, Linphone, Bria or Groundwire. Some phones also have a built-in SIP client you can use instead.
2. Create a new SIP account in the app and enter: - Domain / server: sip.transcom.net - Username: your FreeVoIP user ID - Password: your account password
3. Leave media encryption off and do not enable "hide caller ID" if you want national rates.
4. Save; the app should show registered.

Enable the app's keep-alive/push settings so it stays reachable in the background. Remember every account includes two SIP lines, so your mobile can be registered at the same time as a desk phone.
