Managed Email or Business Email: which service fits

Transcom offers two email services. The right one comes down to how many mailboxes you need and whose domain you want them on.

Managed Email (£12/month) is a complete service on your own domain. The domain name is included and registered for you, you get 25 mailboxes with unlimited storage, encrypted off-site backups, and the whole thing is fully managed — you ask, and mailboxes, passwords, DNS and device setup are handled for you. It's built for teams and businesses that want their own branded email without running a mail server.

Business Email (£25/year) is a single mailbox on one of Transcom's established shared domains — no domain to register, set up instantly for you. It's built for one person: a sole trader or freelancer who wants a credible address without a whole plan.

A quick guide: - A team, or you want mail on your own branded domain → Managed Email. - You want backups and someone to run it all → Managed Email. - Just you, and a shared business domain is fine → Business Email.

Both run on the same MxGuard filtering and the same properly-configured deliverability.
