Per-domain rules: filtering tuned to your business
On top of the standard MxGuard layers — DNSBL, URIBL, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, the AI classifier and ClamAV — Managed Email supports per-domain rules: filtering adjustments specific to your domain and how your business actually works.
Because we run the service for you, we can tune the filtering to your situation rather than leaving you with one-size-fits-all defaults. In practice that means things like making sure mail from a key supplier, client or system always gets through, tightening handling of a category of nuisance mail you keep receiving, or accommodating an unusual but legitimate sender that generic filters treat with suspicion.
You don't configure any of this yourself — you tell us what you're seeing, and we adjust the rules on your domain. If a genuine message was ever filtered, or a particular type of spam keeps slipping through, that's exactly the kind of thing per-domain rules fix. It's part of what 'managed' means: the filtering works for your business, not just in general.
