Sender reputation: why the shared domains stay trusted
'Sender reputation' is the score that receiving mail servers keep on a domain and the servers it sends from. A good reputation means your mail lands in the inbox; a poor one means it's filtered, delayed or rejected. On a free consumer domain that reputation is out of your hands, and on a brand-new domain it doesn't exist yet.
Business Email addresses sit on Transcom's established mail domains, whose reputation is actively maintained. That means:
- Correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC records stay in place so every message authenticates.
- Outbound mail passes through MxGuard, so a compromised or misbehaving account can't quietly wreck the domain's standing for everyone.
- The domains have years of clean sending history behind them.
The practical result for you is simply that your mail is trusted and delivered — you get the benefit of a well-kept reputation without having to build or manage one yourself. It's one of the biggest reasons a professional address outperforms a free or freshly-registered one.
