Business Email or Managed Email: choosing between them

Transcom offers two email services, and the right one depends on how many people need mail and whose domain it's on.

Business Email (£25/year) is a single professional mailbox on one of Transcom's established business domains. There's no domain to register — you pick your address on a ready-to-use domain and it's set up for you. It's built for one person: a sole trader, freelancer or one-person business who wants a credible address without a whole hosting plan.

Managed Email (£12/month) is a complete service on your own domain, with 25 mailboxes, the domain name itself included and registered for you, and encrypted off-site backups. It's built for a team, and it's fully managed — you ask, and mailboxes, passwords and settings are handled for you.

A quick guide: - Just you, happy with a shared business domain → Business Email. - A team, or you want mail on your own branded domain → Managed Email. - Want backups and someone to run it all for you → Managed Email.

Both run on the same MxGuard filtering and the same properly-configured deliverability, so whichever you choose, the mail itself is protected and lands well.
