Writing effective custom block messages
Business lets you replace the default block text with your own custom block message — per form, via the widget's data-block-message attribute (plain text or the ID of an element on the page).
Good practice:
- Do not accuse the visitor of fraud — false positives happen. Keep it neutral: something went wrong, please try again or contact support.
- Give a route out — a support email or link — so a genuine blocked customer can reach you.
- Match your brand voice and the surrounding page.
Pair this with your onboarding session to get wording and thresholds right before you switch forms to live keys.
