Cross-consistency: how Veritus spots signals that do not add up

Individually, an email, phone, address and IP may each look fine. Fraud often shows up in the gaps between them.

Veritus runs geographic alignment checks across the IP, phone, address and the form's own locale. A signup with a UK address, a UK phone number and an IP geolocating to another country produces a mismatch reason code such as geo.mismatch (GB/RU).

Importantly, mismatches are flagged, not auto-blocked — plenty of legitimate people travel or use a VPN. The model weighs the mismatch alongside everything else, and you decide via your thresholds and rules how much it should count.
