03 Numbers Count Towards Callers' Inclusive Minutes

One of the biggest advantages of an 03 number is how it's billed to the people who call you. By regulation, calls to 0300, 0330, 0343 and 0370 numbers must cost no more than a call to an 01 or 02 landline — and crucially, they count towards callers' inclusive minutes on mobile and landline plans.

That means for most callers on a modern bundle, ringing your 03 number is effectively free, just like calling any normal landline. There's no premium, no surcharge and no reason for a customer to hesitate before dialling.

Contrast that with 084 and 087 numbers, which carry a service charge and are excluded from inclusive minutes — a genuine cost barrier. An 03 number gives you a single national identity without ever penalising the customer for getting in touch.
