VoIP Local DID Number General help New

What happens to my DID calls if my internet goes down?

Your DID includes automatic failover, so a call isn't lost when your primary connection drops.

Set a fallback destination — typically your mobile — in the DID's routing. If the main handset doesn't answer or your broadband is offline, the call automatically rolls to that backup, and finally to voicemail-to-email if nobody picks up.

Because the failover happens on our network before the call reaches your premises, it keeps working even when your office line is completely down. Configure the fallback order in My VoIP so calls always find a phone that's still connected.
