How do I configure the engine for a non-Nominet registry?

The engine catches from any registrar using the EPP / DAC XML process, which is around 80 countries' registries — but it arrives pre-configured for Nominet.

To catch under a different registry, edit the configuration file and replace the Nominet parameters with those of your target registry: its EPP endpoint and credentials, and the drop/DAC details it uses. The catching mechanism is the same standard EPP/DAC exchange, so once the parameters match, the engine works against that registry as it does for Nominet.

For .uk catching you don't need to change anything — the Nominet parameters are already in place and ready to run.
