Single mode: dedicated resources for premium and short names
Free Access offers three catch modes, and Single (£50 + VAT) is the one built for the hardest names.
In Single mode the platform commits full dedicated resources to one domain. This is aimed at premium and hard-to-catch names — the classic example being short three-character .co.uk domains, which are heavily contested and can attract many competing catchers on the same drop.
For an ordinary name, Fast or Multi mode is plenty. But where a name is genuinely valuable and you expect strong competition, concentrating resources on that single target maximises the chance of winning it. You pay the higher per-catch price only if the catch succeeds — an unsuccessful Single attempt still costs nothing.
For the very heaviest or self-run catching, dedicated multi-core server resources and the leased or owned engine options are also available.
