Automatic submission: how the system handles expiry and drop dates

You do not need to research or enter drop timings by hand. Submission through Free Access is fully automatic.

When you submit a domain, the system: - looks up and inserts the expiry and drop dates for you, - allocates catching resources according to the mode you have chosen, and - filters out any domain that is not in the expired window — so anything still live, or not actually dropping, is rejected before it reaches the catch queue.

This removes the two biggest sources of error in manual dropcatching: getting the drop time wrong, and wasting effort on names that aren't genuinely dropping. You provide the name; the platform does the timing research and resource allocation.
