Do I need to be a Nominet registrar to use TAG Owner Access?

Yes. TAG Owner Access is built for people who hold their own IPS TAG — that is, Nominet registrars. The whole model is that you catch under your own TAG and settle directly with Nominet.

If you are a Nominet registrar with a TAG but no catching engine, this product is aimed exactly at you: it gives you a proven engine without building one.

If you do not hold a TAG, you cannot use this option as intended, and one of Transcom's other dropcatch products may suit you better. If you are unsure whether your Nominet status qualifies, raise a ticket and we can talk it through.
