Settling a caught domain with Nominet

When you own the engine you catch under your own TAG and settle directly with Nominet at your own registrar rate — there are no per-catch fees to Transcom.

After a successful catch:

1. The name is registered to your TAG at the moment of the catch.
2. Settlement is then a matter between you and Nominet, at whatever registrar rate your account holds.

This is the main cost advantage of owning: once the one-time purchase is paid, your only recurring domain cost is Nominet's own registrar pricing, with no software or catching fee on top.
