Pointing the engine at a non-Nominet EPP registry

Your engine arrives with Nominet parameters filled in, so .uk catching works out of the box. To catch at another registry that uses the EPP/DAC XML process:

  1. Obtain that registry's EPP connection details and your credentials with them.
  2. Enter those parameters into the engine's configuration file in place of (or alongside) the Nominet ones.
  3. Confirm the registry's release/drop model — a scheduled time-release or the older DAC/EPP method — as this affects how you time your creates.
  4. Test with a single-domain run before automating.

Around 80 countries operate a compatible EPP/DAC process, so the same licensed engine can chase drops well beyond .uk.
