How the nightly Nominet droplist downloads work

The engine ships with utilities that perform nightly downloads of the Nominet droplist — the published list of domains scheduled to drop.

This keeps your catching targets current automatically: each night the fresh list of names heading for release is pulled down, so you are always working from up-to-date data rather than a stale snapshot. Combined with round-robin mode, which reads its target domains from a flatfile list, this lets you build a fully automated pipeline from published droplist to catching attempt.

The download utility is one of several additional tools bundled alongside the core run.php and robin.php scripts.
