Connecting to Hybrid VPN on Android

Modern Android includes an L2TP/IPSEC PSK client (on newer versions this may be under a third-party or built-in VPN option depending on the manufacturer). Use the details from your provisioning email.

1. Open Settings > Network & Internet > VPN and tap + / Add VPN.
2. Give the profile a name.
3. Set Type to L2TP/IPSec PSK.
4. Enter your server address (or vanity hostname).
5. Enter the IPSec pre-shared key from your email.
6. Save, then open the profile and enter your username and password to connect.

If your Android version has removed the built-in L2TP option, contact UK support and we will advise on a compatible client. Once connected, your traffic runs through your dedicated static IP with SmartDNS built in.
