Where to find your DNS server addresses

ruthR19 11 Jun 2026, 05:11

Every SmartDNS subscription comes with two addresses — a primary and a secondary — and these are what you type into your device or router.

They are sent to you within minutes of subscribing, in your confirmation email and on your support ticket. The same pair of addresses works on every device and never changes, even as we update our backend routing to keep services unlocking. You always enter both: the secondary address is there for automatic failover, so if the primary server is ever briefly unavailable your devices keep working via the secondary. If you have lost your addresses, raise a support ticket and we will resend them.
