Setting SmartDNS on macOS
To configure SmartDNS on a Mac:
- Open the Apple menu and choose System Settings.
- Click Network in the sidebar, select your active connection, then click Details.
- Open the DNS tab.
- Click the + button and add your primary SmartDNS address.
- Click + again and add your secondary address.
- Click OK, then Apply.
Tip: DNS settings are per-connection on macOS, so if you switch between Wi-Fi and Ethernet you should configure both. Your primary and secondary addresses are the ones supplied when you subscribed.
