Installing the optional FastAPN desktop client

While FastAPN works through your operating system's built-in VPN with nothing to install, some users prefer a dedicated app that handles the connection for them. FastAPN provides a desktop client.

To install it:

1. Download the client package (fastapn.zip).
2. Make sure the .NET 10 runtime is present on the machine (the client requires it).
3. Unzip the download and run the executable.

The client manages the connection to pep.fastapn.com for you and gives you a single place to start, stop and check the link. If you would rather not install anything at all, either use the manual L2TP/IPsec settings on the device, or use the USB-portable version, which leaves nothing behind on the host machine.
