Connecting to FastAPN over L2TP/IPsec

FastAPN is delivered as an L2TP/IPsec VPN, so on most devices you can connect using the operating system's built-in VPN client — nothing to install.

Use these settings:

• Type: L2TP over IPsec
• Server / hostname: pep.fastapn.com (this is region-dynamic and automatically points you at the nearest node)
• Username / password: the credentials emailed to you after purchase (or the free test details, see below)
• Pre-shared key (PSK): as supplied with your credentials

Once connected, all traffic from that device is carried through FastAPN and is accelerated and filtered automatically. To check it is working, browse to pep.fastapn.com after connecting — the dashboard shows your connection analysis, upload and download speeds, latency reduction and status.
