How FastAPN reaches your devices: proxy, APN, VPN, PPPoE and reverse proxy

FastAPN is deliberately non-invasive — there is no hardware to fit and no software to flash onto your equipment. Instead it can be introduced into your traffic path in whichever way suits your setup:

• VPN routes — the standard method for individual users, via an L2TP/IPsec tunnel to a FastAPN node.
• Proxy settings — configured in a browser or at the mobile OS level.
• APN configuration — applied on a mobile connection so all traffic on the SIM is carried through FastAPN.
• PPPoE — for links that authenticate this way.
• Reverse proxies — deployed on a corporate network so an entire site benefits without touching individual devices.

Because the acceleration and filtering happen on the FastAPN node, any of these delivery methods produces the same result. Individuals almost always use the VPN route; enterprises tend to prefer a reverse proxy or APN so a whole network or fleet is covered at once.
