Creating and managing databases

Every TDesk plan includes both MySQL and PostgreSQL, managed from the panel.

Create a database

1. Open the databases section in the panel.
2. Create a database on either MySQL or PostgreSQL.
3. Use the browser-based admin tools to manage tables, run queries and administer the database — there's nothing separate to install.

How many you can have

Database count is a per-tier quota: 2 on Single Domain and Starter, 10 on Pro, 30 on Premium and 150 on Enterprise. The engines and tools are identical on every tier.

Backups and safety

Databases sit inside your isolated account and are included in the daily encrypted backups. If you ever need to, you can restore a single database on its own with one click, without touching the rest of your site.
