Turning on two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to your panel login and is available on every plan.

Steps

1. Open your account/security settings in the panel.
2. Enable two-factor authentication. TDesk uses TOTP, the standard used by authenticator apps.
3. Scan the code shown with your authenticator app (or enter the key manually).
4. Confirm the current six-digit code to prove it's paired.
5. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — these let you back in if you lose your phone or authenticator.

From now on

Each login asks for your password plus the rotating code from your app.

If you're a reseller

Turning on 2FA protects not just your account but every customer hosted under it, since a compromised operator login puts all of them at risk. It's one of the highest-value security steps you can take.
