Two-factor authentication and account security
TDesk protects your panel login with two-factor authentication (2FA).
How it works
2FA is TOTP-based — you pair the panel with an authenticator app, and each login asks for the rotating six-digit code as well as your password. Recovery codes are issued so you can still get in if you lose your authenticator.
Part of a layered approach
2FA sits alongside the platform's other defences: per-customer Linux isolation, fail2ban, a web application firewall and a firewall. It's available on every tier at no extra cost.
Turning it on is one of the single most effective things you can do to keep your account — and, if you're a reseller, all the customers under it — safe from password compromise.
