VAT and how MailProof prices are shown

MailProof prices are quoted exclusive of VAT, so it is worth knowing what you will actually pay at checkout.

The headline figures are the ex-VAT prices:

• Free plan — 10 certified emails every calendar month at no cost.
• Pay as you go — £0.50 per certified email once your free allowance is used.
• Bundles — pre-paid blocks of certified emails, from small top-ups up to the 100-email bundle at £45.

UK VAT at the standard 20% rate is added on top of these figures where it applies. So, for example, a £45 bundle carries VAT on top at checkout. The free monthly allowance has no charge and therefore no VAT.

The 100-email bundle is priced to give a clear saving against buying the same volume pay-as-you-go at £0.50 each, which is why it is the best-value option for anyone sending certified email regularly. If you only need proof occasionally, the free monthly allowance and pay-as-you-go together mean you never pay for capacity you don't use.
