Removing in-app adverts on mobiles, games and smart TVs
Ad-blocking isn't just a browser problem. Adverts inside mobile apps, free games and smart-TV applications are some of the most intrusive — and hardest to escape without a network-level solution. Deep Packet Filter (DPF) blocks them.
Where DPF removes ads:
- Banner and interstitial ads inside mobile apps
- Adverts served into free-to-play games
- Ads inside smart-TV apps and streaming interfaces
- Video pre-rolls and pop-ups across sites and apps
Why a browser blocker can't do this: in-app adverts don't run in a browser, so extensions never see them. DPF filters the advert-serving domains at the DNS layer, so the ads simply fail to load — no matter which app or device requested them, and across every device on the network at once.
Beyond a cleaner experience, blocking in-app ads reclaims real bandwidth and battery, since your device no longer downloads and renders creative you never wanted to see.
