NVMe storage across the VPS range

Transcom 06 Jul 2025, 09:17

Every Transcom VPS uses NVMe storage — flash storage on the fast PCIe interface — at every tier, not just the top ones. NVMe delivers far higher random read/write performance than SATA SSDs or spinning disks, which is what databases, busy web servers and I/O-heavy applications actually feel.

Capacity scales with the tier:

Tier NVMe storage HA-512 20 GB HA-1G 50 GB HA-2G / HA-4G 80 GB HA-8G 100 GB HA-16G 200 GB HA-32G 300 GB HV-8G 1 TB SS-4G / SS-NOMINET 80 GB Multicore Dropcatch 80 GB

Most tiers pair storage with compute proportionally, so heavier tiers get more room as well as more memory. If your workload needs a lot of space specifically — media, backups, self-hosted cloud storage — the HV-8G breaks that pattern with a full terabyte of NVMe on the same 8 GB / 3 vCPU compute as the HA-8G. The storage is dedicated to your server under KVM, so I/O performance doesn't wobble with what other customers are doing.
