The HA mid tiers: HA-2G and HA-4G explained

The middle of the HA range covers general-purpose hosting and fuller application stacks.

HA-2G — £7.00/month - 2 GB dedicated RAM - 2 vCPU - 80 GB NVMe storage

HA-4G — £13.00/month - 4 GB dedicated RAM - 2 vCPU - 80 GB NVMe storage

Both include unlimited bandwidth, IPv4 and IPv6, full root access, free backups and DDoS protection.

The HA-2G is the natural home for general-purpose hosting: a busy small website, a web plus database pairing, a Git server or a handful of light services running together. The HA-4G keeps the same two dedicated cores and 80 GB of NVMe but doubles the memory to 4 GB, which is what most application stacks (web server, application runtime and database on one box) actually run short of first. If a site is healthy on CPU but swapping under memory pressure, HA-4G is usually the right move.

As with every tier, the resources are dedicated under KVM, so you get consistent performance rather than the variable throughput of oversold container hosting.
