How your email is set up to reach the inbox (SPF, DKIM and DMARC)

Getting email delivered reliably is about more than creating a mailbox — modern mail servers check that your messages are genuinely authorised to come from your domain. If those checks aren't configured, legitimate mail can land in spam or bounce.

With Managed Hosting we configure all three authentication standards for you:

• SPF publishes which servers are allowed to send mail for your domain.
• DKIM cryptographically signs your outgoing mail so recipients can verify it wasn't tampered with.
• DMARC ties the two together and tells receiving servers what to do with mail that fails the checks.

You never have to touch a DNS record to make this work — it's part of the complete configuration we set up and test before your mailboxes go live, so your mail authenticates properly and reaches inboxes.
