Installing and configuring the Legacy Engine

To get the engine running:

1. Prepare a Linux server with PHP 7.4.x installed and the system clock set to UTC/Zulu time (all drop times are in Zulu). The Multicore Dropcatch VPS is purpose-built for this.
2. Install via SSH using your EPP password, Account ID and licence key.
3. Check the configuration file — it comes pre-configured with Nominet parameters, so it is ready for any Nominet registrar out of the box.
4. Start catching with run.php (single domain) or robin.php (round-robin from a flatfile list).

Existing owners of Transcom's older SSH software can upgrade to this new engine.
