The seven enrichment signals behind every check

Every Veritus check runs seven enrichment signals before the model produces a score. Each signal adds a different piece of context about the person filling in your form:

1. Email validity & age — is the address real and deliverable, how established is it, and is it a disposable or throwaway domain?
2. Phone validity & line type — is the number valid, and is it a mobile, landline or VoIP line?
3. Address validation — does the postal address resolve correctly (across the UK and 30+ countries)?
4. IP & geolocation — where is the request coming from, and is it a VPN, proxy, Tor exit or datacentre?
5. Breach exposure — has the supplied password or credentials appeared in known data breaches (checked against billions of leaked records)?
6. Device & behaviour — device and browser fingerprinting plus behavioural anomaly scoring.
7. Cross-field consistency — do the fields agree with each other (for example name, date of birth and the rest of the submitted data)?

These signals also feed velocity and repeat-signup detection, so rapid bursts of related registrations stand out. Crucially, there are no hidden enrichment surcharges — every check runs all seven signals as standard.
