Setting your block and review thresholds
Veritus scores every signup from 0 to 100 and turns that score into an allow, review or block verdict. You control where the cut-offs sit.
- Block threshold — scores at or above this level are stopped outright.
- Review threshold — scores between your review and block levels are flagged for a human to check rather than blocked automatically.
- Everything below the review threshold is allowed straight through.
Tips for tuning:
- Start slightly lenient and tighten as you see real traffic — the dashboard shows the reasons behind each verdict so you can judge where to set the lines.
- Use the review band for borderline cases rather than blocking them, so genuine customers are not turned away by mistake.
- Mark verdicts as correct or incorrect. This feedback retrains the model on your own signup patterns and improves accuracy over time.
