Rather than buy the engine outright or pay per-catch fees, you lease access and run catches against your own Nominet TAG.

• Caught domains land directly on your TAG — they are yours from the moment they are caught.
• You pay Nominet their registrar rate for each registration.

This keeps your costs low and your domains under your own control, because settlement is direct between you and Nominet and nothing sits under a third party's TAG.
