Dropcatching Owned Engine - One Time General help New

Why server time must be set to UTC/Zulu

All Nominet drop times are expressed in Zulu (UTC) time. Because the engine's timing depends on hitting the drop precisely, your server must be set to UTC / Zulu.

If your server is on a local timezone, your catch timing will be off by the offset and you will miss slots. Set the server clock to UTC before running any catches.

To help you judge timing, the engine gives you seven chronological result points and shows a latency computation on the login screen, so you can see how your timing is performing and pick the best moment to send EPP creates.
