Single-domain mode vs round-robin mode
The engine gives you two ways to run catches:
- run.php — single domain, non-blocking mode. Use this when you are focused on one name and want to run it directly.
- robin.php — round-robin mode. This reads a list of domains from a flatfile, cycles through them, and runs fully automated. Use this when you want to chase several names without manual intervention.
Both modes run multi-socket and non-blocking. Several additional utilities are also provided alongside these two core scripts, plus nightly Nominet droplist downloads to keep your target lists current.
