Running the engine: scripts and requirements

The Owned Engine runs on your own Linux server. Requirements and tools:

Requirements

• PHP 7.4.x.
• The server set to UTC / Zulu time — all drop times are in Zulu, so correct clock configuration matters.

Core scripts

• run.php — single domain, non-blocking mode.
• robin.php — round-robin mode, reading multiple domains from a flatfile list, fully automated.

Extras

• Several additional utilities are provided.
• Nightly Nominet droplist downloads are included, so you always have the latest list of dropping names.
