The modern time-release engine and its features

The current software is a complete rewrite built for Nominet's time-release drop process, introduced in September 2022, while remaining compatible with the older DAC / EPP method.

Key features:

• Multiple non-blocking EPP sockets — all scripts run multi-socket and non-blocking.
• A proprietary algorithm that streams EPP writes in blocks for tighter timing.
• Seven chronological result points to help you judge the best moment to send your EPP creates.
• Latency computation displayed on the login screen.
• Post-check registration — register a name if your catch timing missed the slot but the domain became available.

Together these give you fine control over drop timing and a fallback path when a slot is narrowly missed.
