How the engine catches dropping domains
The engine catches dropping domain names from registrars that use the EPP / DAC XML process — around 80 countries operate one, so the software is not limited to a single registry.
The configuration file ships pre-configured with Nominet parameters, which means it is ready to use straight away for any Nominet registrar. You supply your own credentials and start catching without having to build the configuration from scratch.
Once you own the engine, there are no ongoing catch fees to Transcom — you simply settle any domains you catch with Nominet directly, at your own registrar rate.
