Setting up and connecting to your Hybrid VPN
Once your dedicated server is ready, you'll receive your server address, static IP, username and password by email. Here's how to get connected and make the most of the service.
Connecting:
- Hybrid VPN uses L2TP / IPSEC / PPP, which is supported natively by most operating systems, so you generally don't need to install extra client software.
- Open your device's built-in VPN settings, add a new L2TP/IPSEC connection, and enter your server address, username and password from your welcome email.
Common questions:
- Can I connect more than one device? Yes — the plan supports multiple users and devices.
- Is there a data cap? No — bandwidth is unlimited.
- Do I get streaming unblocking too? Yes — SmartDNS is built into the tunnel, so streaming geo-unblocking works alongside the VPN.
- Can I control who connects? Yes — you get your own ACL list to define access control rules, plus a full Class-C private IP block.
- Can I block ads and malware? Yes, if you added the Deep Packet Filter at checkout.
