Installing, reinstalling or bringing your own OS
You control the operating system on your VPS entirely from the panel.
Choosing an OS at setup. When you order or reinstall, pick from the available Linux distributions or Windows Server 2025. The install runs automatically and the server comes back online ready to use.
Reinstalling. If you want to start fresh or switch OS, use the Reinstall option in your panel. This wipes the server and lays down a clean image, so make sure anything you want to keep is backed up first.
Bringing your own ISO. If you need an operating system or a specific image we do not list, you can upload your own ISO and install any OS image you need. This is handy for niche distributions, custom appliance images, or a particular OS version.
Watching the install. Open the NoVNC web console from the panel to watch the boot and installation process, or to interact with an installer that needs input. Because the console is out-of-band, it works throughout the install even before networking is configured.
Remember that a reinstall is destructive — take a backup before you begin.
