Which VPS tier is right for my workload?

The best starting point is to match the server family to the shape of your workload, then pick a size.

If your workload is memory- and balance-led (websites, apps, databases): choose the HA series.

If you need lots of fast disk: choose the HV series. HV-8G gives you 8 GB RAM alongside a full 1 TB of NVMe — ideal when storage, not RAM, is your constraint.

If your workload is CPU-bound or highly concurrent: choose the SS series, which trades some RAM for extra cores. SS-4G gives you 4 vCPU, and SS-Nominet gives you 6 vCPU tuned for Nominet / registrar workloads.

Still unsure? Start one tier lower than you think you need. Because plans are month-to-month with no contract, moving up is painless if you find you need more headroom.
