Choosing a tier: the HA, HV and SS series explained
The VPS range is organised into three families so you can match the server to the shape of your workload.
HA series — balanced, general purpose. The mainstream line, scaling smoothly from tiny to large:
- HA-512 — 512 MB RAM, 1 vCPU, 20 GB NVMe. Ideal for lightweight always-on services.
- HA-1G — 1 GB RAM, 1 vCPU, 50 GB NVMe.
- HA-2G — 2 GB RAM, 2 vCPU, 80 GB NVMe.
- HA-4G — 4 GB RAM, 2 vCPU, 80 GB NVMe.
- HA-8G — 8 GB RAM, 3 vCPU, 100 GB NVMe. Ideal for databases and multi-service stacks.
- HA-16G — 16 GB RAM, 4 vCPU, 200 GB NVMe.
- HA-32G — 32 GB RAM, 6 vCPU, 300 GB NVMe. The top tier, for the most demanding production workloads.
HV series — high storage. When you need lots of fast disk:
- HV-8G — 8 GB RAM, 3 vCPU, 1 TB NVMe. Ideal for storage-heavy workloads.
SS series — extra cores. When your workload is CPU-bound or highly concurrent:
- SS-4G — 4 GB RAM, 4 vCPU, 80 GB NVMe. Ideal for compute-heavy and concurrent workloads.
- SS-Nominet — 4 GB RAM, 6 vCPU, 80 GB NVMe. Tuned specifically for Nominet / registrar workloads.
All tiers share unlimited bandwidth and include IPv4 and IPv6.
