Enabling privacy across your whole portfolio

If you hold several domains, protect them efficiently:

  1. Open Domains in TDesk to see all your names.
  2. Note which are on eligible TLDs — those are the ones that can carry a privacy service (others may already be redacted under GDPR).
  3. Enable WHOIS Privacy on each eligible name from its management page.
  4. For .uk names registered to you as an individual not trading, opt to have the address withheld under Nominet's rules.
  5. Verify a sample of names with a WHOIS lookup to confirm the change took.

Best practice: turn privacy on at the point of registration so your details are never published in the first place, rather than trying to scrub them after the fact — once data has been scraped, privacy stops future exposure but can't recall what's already been harvested.
