FAQ: email, keeping a name, and listing while parked
Does parking break my email? No, as long as you don't change the MX records. Parking touches the web (A/AAAA/CNAME) records; mail keeps flowing on its existing MX.
Can I keep a name parked long-term? Yes. A holding page is fine indefinitely for a name you're reserving — just keep the registration renewed.
Can I park a name and list it on Rarenames at the same time? Absolutely — that's the recommended setup for selling. The for-sale page catches type-in traffic and the marketplace listing catches active buyers.
Does a parked name rank in Google? No, and it isn't meant to. Parking pages are placeholders. Switch to a real site when you want search visibility.
Can I park a name that isn't registered with Transcom? You'd need to move DNS (or the registration) to Transcom first so our nameservers are authoritative.
