Switching a domain from parking to a live website

When you're ready to launch a real site on a parked name:

1. Set up your hosting (a Transcom hosting package, or note your external host's IP / target).
2. In Domains → [your name] → DNS, update the web records: - Point the A / AAAA records at your host - Update the www CNAME if needed
3. Save. This overrides the parking records.
4. Allow for DNS propagation — usually minutes on our nameservers, up to the record TTL elsewhere.
5. Visit the domain to confirm your site loads instead of the parking page.

The parking page disappears automatically once the records no longer point at the parking service.
