Security and privacy
MailProof is secure by default. Your emails are protected by:
- TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
- AES-256-GCM encryption at rest
Message content is only ever accessible to you, the account holder. MailProof records the delivery metadata needed to produce your certificate — timestamps, the SMTP handshake, sender and recipient details, subject line and attachment names — while the body of your message stays private to your account.
Because you send from your own business email address, recipients see your identity rather than ours, and your certified messages remain fully under your control.
